Categories of Training Programs

GORD Academy offers training programs leading to certification qualifications recognized by the relevant industries locally, regionally and internationally. Such qualifications are managed by global leading parties in their industries; for example, GSAS qualifications in green buildings domain.

Leveraging on MOUs signed between GORD and leading global organizations, such as Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers ASHRAE Qatar Chapter and the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), Global Carbon Council (GCC), Global Accreditation Bureau (GAB), increasing number of certification-based programs will be offered by GORD Academy. GORD Academy offers a variety of training programs covering a wide spectrum of topics related to environmental sustainability including, but not limited to, energy, water, materials, indoor environment, architecture, construction, operations, waste management and facility management. In addition, the Academy offers training programs on climate change including carbon management, decarbonization of industries and societies, carbon offsetting, GHG standards and accounting, among others.

Apart from standard certification courses, our team of educators have the expertise to design customized curriculum to help organizations achieve their specific sustainability goals.  Classified as Continuing Education Programs, these courses allow professionals to obtain learning hours (LHs) needed to maintain certain professional accreditations. While we are headquartered in Doha, we conduct trainings across the world.
